Jiajia Yang is a Senior Lecturer in renewable energy and electrical engineering. He is an experienced power network modelling and planning professional with both industrial and research background in the Australian power energy industry. He was as a Senior Research Associate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), on research topics including power system operation and optimization, smart grid, electricity markets, network modelling/planning for renewable integration. He also worked in the frontline of energy transitions in Australia, as a Senior Power System Analysis Engineer and providing technical support to multiple flagship Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) programs and Transmission Network Planning projects.
